86 garment factories in Ashulia remain closed due to labor
unrest and unstable situation. However, no untoward incident was reported in
the industrial area.
Superintendent of Police of Industrial Police-1 Mohammad
Sarwar Alam confirmed this information to Views Bangladesh on Thursday.
It is learnt that after the call of BGMEA leaders and
local political parties yesterday, it was decided to open all the factories
from today. However, although many factories were opened around 8 am, 86
factories still remained closed.
Superintendent of Police Sarwar Alam said that additional
police have been deployed in front of the factories to avoid any untoward
incident in the industrial area. Along with this, joint patrols are continuing.

জানা
যায়, গতকাল বিজিএমইএ নেতারা ও স্থানীয় রাজনৈতিক
দলের আহ্বানের পর সব কারখানা
আজ থেকে খুলে দেওয়ার
সিদ্ধান্ত হয়। তবে সকাল
৮টার দিকে অনেক কারখানা
খুলে দেওয়া হলেও ৮৬টি কারখানা
কর্তৃপক্ষ বন্ধ রেখেছে।
পুলিশ
সুপার সারোয়ার আলম বলেন, শিল্পাঞ্চলে
যেকোনো ধরনের অপ্রীতিকর ঘটনা এড়াতে কারখানাগুলোর
সামনে অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে। পাশাপাশি
যৌথবাহিনীর টহল অব্যাহত রয়েছে।
