93 ASPs get simultaneous postings from Police Headquarters

Ninety-three officers of the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) have been simultaneously posted to various police units across the country.

The order was issued on Monday (July 27) from the Personnel Management Branch-1 of the Police Headquarters. The posting order, signed by Additional Deputy Inspector General (Additional DIG) Rayhan Uddin Khan, confirmed the assignments.

According to Police Headquarters sources, the posted officers have been assigned to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP), RAB and various district police units across the country.

The officers who received postings are from the 37th, 38th, 40th and 41st BCS Police Cadre batches. They completed one year of training at the Sardah Police Academy in Rajshahi and six months of field training in their respective districts.

After completing their training, these officers had been serving at the Training Reserve (TR) branch of the Police Headquarters. This is their first regular posting in their career.
