Abdur Rahman Sani appointed Tarique Rahman's representative in Dhaka-17

Abdur Rahman Sani has been appointed as the representative for Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's parliamentary constituency, Dhaka-17. He is currently serving as the Prime Minister's Second Assistant Private Secretary.

A letter signed by Principal Secretary A B M Abdus Sattar on Monday, March 16, confirmed this appointment.

The letter stated that Tarique Rahman, elected as a member of parliament from Dhaka-17, is currently serving as the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. To facilitate the daily activities of the people in the Prime Minister's parliamentary constituency, Abdur Rahman Sani has been appointed as the representative for that constituency.

In the 13th National Parliamentary Election held on February 12, Tarique Rahman contested and won from both Bogura-6 and Dhaka-17 constituencies. Later, he relinquished the Bogura-6 seat and took oath as a member of parliament from Dhaka-17.
