The government has promoted Md. Abdur Rahman Tarafdar, currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, to the position of Secretary. The Ministry of Public Administration issued an official notification on Thursday, August 28, confirming the promotion. Following his elevation, Tarafdar has been transferred to the Ministry of Labour and Employment as Secretary. The notification, signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Rafiqul Haque under the President’s directive, formally announced the transfer and promotion of Md. Abdur Rahman Tarafdar from the Ministry of Housing and Public Works to the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

গৃহায়ন ও গণপূর্ত মন্ত্রণালয়ের অতিরিক্ত সচিব মো. আবদুর রহমান তরফদারকে সচিব পদে পদোন্নতি দিয়েছে সরকার । বৃহস্পতিবার (২৮ আগস্ট) জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয় এই পদোন্নতির বিষয়ে সরকারি প্রজ্ঞাপন জারি করে। পদোন্নতির পর তাকে শ্রম ও কর্মসংস্থান মন্ত্রণালয়ে সচিব হিসেবে দায়িত্ব প্রদান করা হয়েছে। প্রজ্ঞাপনে বলা হয়েছে, রাষ্ট্রপতির আদেশক্রমে উপসচিব মোহাম্মদ রফিকুল হক স্বাক্ষরিত নথির মাধ্যমে মো. আবদুর রহমান তরফদারকে সচিব পদে পদোন্নতি দিয়ে শ্রম ও কর্মসংস্থান মন্ত্রণালয়ে বদলি করা হয়েছে।
