Abdus Sattar appointed PM's principal secretary
Former secretary ABM Abdus Sattar appointed as Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister for a one-year term.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification, signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Rafiqul Haque, on Tuesday night (February 17) confirming the appointment.
According to the notification, Sattar will serve for one year from the date of joining. During his tenure, he will be required to relinquish any involvement in other professions, businesses, or affiliations with government, semi-government or private entities.
Other terms and conditions of the appointment will be determined through a separate contract, the notification said, adding that the order was issued in the public interest.
