Actress Sohana Saba has been arrested by the Detective Police (DB) on charges of conspiracy against the state. The police said that she was arrested from Dhanmondi in the capital. DB chief Rezaul Karim Mallik confirmed the news of Sohana Saba's arrest on Thursday night (February 6). Rezaul Karim Mallick said, 'after actress Shaon, Sohana Saba was under our surveillance. She was taken into our custody some time ago. She is accused of anti-national conspiracy.' Earlier, Meher Afroz Shaon was arrested around 7 pm on Thursday. She is being interrogated at the DB office. The DB chief also said that she will be produced in the court in a specific case and remand will be sought.

রাষ্ট্র নিয়ে ষড়যন্ত্রের অভিযোগে অভিনেত্রী সোহানা সাবাকে গ্রেপ্তার করেছে গোয়েন্দা পুলিশ (ডিবি)। রাজধানীর ধানমন্ডি থেকে তাকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছে পুলিশ। বৃহস্পতিবার (৬ ফেব্রুয়ারি) দিবাগত রাতে সোহানা সাবাকে গ্রেপ্তারের খবর গণমাধ্যমকে নিশ্চিত করেছেন ডিবিপ্রধান রেজাউল করিম মল্লিক। রেজাউল করিম মল্লিক বলেন, 'অভিনেত্রী শাওনের পর সোহানা সাবা আমাদের নজরদারিতে ছিলেন। তাকে কিছু সময় আগে আমাদের হেফাজতে নেয়া হয়েছে। তার বিরুদ্ধে দেশবিরোধী ষড়যন্ত্রের অভিযোগ রয়েছে।' এর আগে বৃহস্পতিবার সন্ধ্যা ৭টার দিকে আটক হন মেহের আফরোজ শাওন। তাকে ডিবি কার্যালয়ে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করা হচ্ছে। সোহানা সাবাকে সুনির্দিষ্ট মামলায় আদালতে উত্থাপন করে রিমান্ড চাওয়া হবে বলেও জানান ডিবিপ্রধান।
