Air ambulance carring Hadi departs for Singapore

Air Ambulance carring Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha and potential independent candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency, has departed for Singapore.

The ICU-equipped air ambulance, a Gulfstream G-100 private jet operated by Asprey Aviation, departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:55pm on Monday (December 15).

The aircraft had arrived at the airport shortly before 1:30pm. The ICU-equipped ambulance carrying Hadi entered the airport through Gate 8 around 1:00pm.

Authorities confirmed that all necessary medical arrangements have been made at the Accident and Emergency Department of Singapore General Hospital.

The Bangladeshi government will cover Hadi’s medical expenses in Singapore.

Hadi was shot last Friday in Old Paltan of Dhaka, while traveling on a motorcycle, a day after the 13th National Parliament election schedule was announced. The decision to send Hadi abroad for treatment was made on Sunday following his critical condition.
