Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that Former member of National Board of Revenue Matiur Rahman has been arrested. All the culprits will be arrested gradually.

He said that all those involved in criminal activities and controversial roles during the Awami League government will be found and arrested.

He said this after visiting the Ansar and VDP headquarters at 11 am on Wednesday (January 15).

Despite their controversial roles, no action has been taken against many police members, but rather transfers and promotions have been made. However, many of those who have completed training have not been appointed. When journalists asked about this, the Home Affairs Adviser said that those police officers who had roles and have footage are being caught. Efforts are underway. Every day, 2/1 are being caught. For example, today, Matiur was caught today. Others will also be caught and brought under the law. Not everyone can be caught in one day, many are hiding, they will be found and caught one by one.

The Home Affairs Adviser also said that none of those against whom evidence is found after the inquiry will be spared. They are being searched for. You see, they have been arrested, and after being arrested, one OC has also fled.

He requested that the list of controversial police officers that is in the media be submitted to the police headquarters.

He also thanked the journalists and said that you have done correct and transparent journalism against the propaganda of neighboring countries. However, he requested that investigative journalism be further increased.
