Amar Ekushey Book Fair starts on Jan 7 to Feb 6

Bangla Academy has announced that the Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2027 will begin on January 7 and continue till February 6.

This information was given in a press release signed by Bangla Academy Director General Professor Mohammad Azam on Sunday (October 18).

The press release said a discussion meeting with publishers’ representatives on the organisation of Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2027 was held at the Shahid Munir Chowdhury Conference Room of Bangla Academy at 10:30am on October 13. Culture Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury presided over the meeting.

Culture Ministry Adviser Jahed Ur Rahman and Ministry Secretary Yasmin Begum were present at the meeting. Based on the unanimous decision of the publishers’ representatives the dates for organising the book fair from January 7 to February 6, 2027 were fixed.
