Assistant director Suranjit dismissed from finance ministry

Assistant director of the Moulvibazar District Savings Office, Suranjit Das, has been suspended following allegations of absconding and misconduct. The decision was announced in an order signed by Md Abdur Rahman Khan, secretary of the Internal Resources Division, on Monday, December 1.

The order stated that departmental action had been initiated against Suranjit Das under rules 3(g) and 3(k) of the Government Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules 2018, based on the allegations brought against him. Considering the circumstances, it was deemed necessary to place him under temporary suspension under rule 12(1) of the same regulations.

Accordingly, he has been temporarily suspended from service.
