Attorney General Abu Mohammad (AM) Amin Uddin has resigned, issuing “personal difficulties” in performing his duties. He submitted his resignation to the President on Wednesday (August 7). "I have sent my resignation letter to the president. I mentioned personal difficulties as the reason for resignation in the letter, " he said. Amin Uddin was appointed Attorney General by the President on October 8, 2020, and previously served as the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association.

পদত্যাগ করেছেন অ্যাটর্নি জেনারেল আবু মোহাম্মদ (এএম) আমিন উদ্দিন। আজ বুধবার (৭ আগস্ট) রাষ্ট্রপতি বরাবর তিনি এই পদত্যাগপত্র জমা দেন। পদত্যাগপত্রে তিনি দায়িত্ব পালনে ব্যক্তিগত অসুবিধার কথা উল্লেখ করেছেন। এর আগে ২০২০ সালের ৮ অক্টোবর তাঁকে অ্যাটর্নি জেনারেল হিসেবে নিয়োগ দিয়েছিলেন তৎকালীন রাষ্ট্রপতি। তিনি সুপ্রিম কোর্ট বারের সভাপতি হিসেবেও দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন।
