Bangladesh has strongly condemned the attacks by the Houthi group on civilian infrastructure including airports of Saudi Arabia. At the same time, the government has called for immediately stopping these attacks.

This condemnation was expressed in a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh on Friday (October 9).

The release said that such attacks are a violation of international law. At the same time, these incidents create a threat to the lives of innocent people and regional stability.

It further said that Bangladesh is expressing full solidarity with the government and people of Saudi Arabia and calling for immediately stopping the attacks.

Earlier, Saudi authorities informed on Friday that three people were killed in the Houthi attack on Riyadh Airport of Saudi Arabia on Thursday. This information has been given in a report of the British news agency Reuters.

Amid the expansion of the war that started from the conflict between the United States and Iran, the Houthi group of Yemen has increased missile attacks on Saudi Arabia. At the same time, the group is trying to close the airspace of the country.

This condemnation and expression of solidarity by Bangladesh over the incidents of attacks on civilian structures of Saudi Arabia is a reflection of giving importance to the security of the country and regional stability amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
