Bangladesh seeks 'visa on arrival' facility in Indonesia
Bangladesh has sought resumption of “Visa on arrival” facilities for its nationals in Indonesia to strengthen people-to-people contact between the two countries.
This was revealed on Wednesday when Indonesia Ambassador Heru Hartanto Subolo paid a courtesy call to the Foreign Advisor Md. Touhid Hossain at the foreign ministry here, said a press release.
During the meeting, they also emphasized on the necessity of direct air connectivity between Dhaka and Jakarta to enhance trade between the two friendly nations.
Referring to strong bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Indonesia, both discussed on the whole arrays of bilateral cooperation including trade and investment, renewable energy, connectivity and people to people contact.
