The government has approved the export of 3,000 metric
tonnes of hilsa fish to India on the occasion of the upcoming Durga Puja.
The Ministry of Commerce issued special approvals to the
trading firms based on their applications submitted to the concerned department
on Wednesday.
Previously, the interim government had decided against
exporting hilsa to India this year to boost domestic supply.

ইলিশ রপ্তানি না করার সিদ্ধান্ত
নিয়েছিল অন্তর্বর্তী সরকার।
গত
বছর দুর্গাপূজা উপলক্ষে মন্ত্রণালয় ৭৯টি কোম্পানিকে ভারতে
প্রায় চার হাজার টন
ইলিশ রপ্তানির অনুমতি দিয়েছিল বাণিজ্য মন্ত্রণালয়।
