Bhutanese PM arrives in Dhaka on stopover, Moyeen Khan welcomes at airport

Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister of Bhutan, has arrived in Dhaka for a one-hour stopover. The special flight carrying him landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1:55pm on Friday (September 18).

Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, member of BNP’s standing committee and Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir welcomed the Bhutanese Prime Minister at the airport.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tshering Tobgay will leave for Germany on a special flight after nearly one hour of stopover in Dhaka.

His stopover was brief and formal. During this time, relevant Bangladeshi officials welcomed him at the airport.
