Biman suspends flights on four Middle East routes indefinitely
Due to the ongoing war situation in the Middle East, Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced the indefinite suspension of flights on four routes in the Middle East. The routes are Doha in Qatar, Sharjah in the UAE, Kuwait, and Dammam in Saudi Arabia.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines' General Manager (Public Relations) Bosra Islam confirmed this matter to the media. He said, "For the information of passengers, we are announcing that among the flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines that were suspended to the Middle East, flights on the Doha, Sharjah, Kuwait and Dammam routes will remain suspended until further notice. On the other hand, flights on the Dubai and Abu Dhabi routes will remain suspended until March 10."
Bosra Islam further said that later, subject to improvement of the situation and approval from the airport authorities there, the two flights may be resumed.
