BNP begins interviews for reserved women's seats

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has started interviewing candidates for reserved women's seats in the 13th National Parliament election, as the party moves forward with its nomination process ahead of the upcoming polls.

The interviews were held on Friday at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan, Dhaka. BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, and members of the party's standing committee were present during the process.

According to party sources, interviews were conducted for candidates from Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal and Faridpur divisions on Saturday. The Barisal division session was still ongoing when the day's proceedings neared completion.

Member of the BNP media cell and Chairman's Media Wing, Shairul Kabir Khan, said that interviews for Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna and Faridpur divisions had been completed, while the Barisal division interview session was still in progress.
