BNP does politics for the needs of the state: Transport Minister

Politics is not about establishing dominance, it is about serving. BNP did politics for the needs of the state. Today's democratic Bangladesh was created due to the contributions of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman, said Road Transport, Bridges, Railways and Waterways Minister Shaikh Rabiul Alam.

He said these things at a prayer meeting organized at Kalabagan in the capital to mark the 45th martyrdom anniversary of martyr President Ziaur Rahman on Monday (June 1).

Shaikh Rabiul Alam said that just like Yahya, the Awami League established a one-party rule in this country. Today's democratic Bangladesh was created due to the contributions of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman.

He said that Shaheed Ziaur Rahman formed this political party to establish a nationalist philosophy suitable for the people. There is no leader; but he has an ideology, there are soldiers of the ideology.

The Road Transport Minister mentioned that the crisis is not over yet. Political miscreants and fascists are still vigilant.

The minister further said that Sheikh Hasina fell in 1996, she also begged for votes. This time in the election, Jamaat-e-Islam has said that it forgives everything it has done since 1947 and gives the vote. BNP has never had to ask for such an apology. That is why the people have voted for BNP whenever they got the opportunity to vote.

He said that the people have confidence in this government elected by the people, they will cooperate with the government to implement the reflection of the people's aspirations, this is the pledge of the martyrdom anniversary.
