BNP inaugurates election office

BNP has inaugurated a separate election office to conduct electoral activities ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.

On Saturday, January 10, in the afternoon, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir formally inaugurated the office by cutting a ribbon at House 10/C, Road 90, Gulshan, in the capital.

Standing committee member Selima Rahman, senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and other leaders of the election management committee were present during the inauguration.

After the opening, senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi spoke to journalists. He said all activities of the election steering committee formed by BNP for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election would be operated from this office.

Rizvi also said a call centre has been launched at the office to facilitate election operations. He added that conducting a national election is a challenging task and the separate office has been established to make the process more efficient.
