BNP's politics is the politics of proper planning: Dr. Zubaida Rahman

Equality before differences and establishing equal rights for all is the goal of BNP, said Dr. Zubaida Rahman, wife of party chairman Tarique Rahman.

She said, "BNP's politics is the politics of proper planning. Now is the time for a new sunrise of our glory. We believe, we before me, the country before us; the people before power, Bangladesh before everyone."

She said these things as the chief guest at an opinion exchange meeting organized in Hatirjheel in the capital on Wednesday (February 4) on the occasion of the 13th National Parliament election.

Addressing the city dwellers and voters, Dr. Zubaida Rahman said, "Everyone has problems, but with the right plan, these problems can be solved. BNP's politics is the politics of proper planning. Now is the time for a new sunrise of our glory."

"We believe, we before me, the country before us; People before power, Bangladesh first."

She said, "We want to give dignity to labour, evaluation of merit, merit-based jobs and fair rights. Rights before exploitation—this is the principle we believe in."

Dr. Zubaida Rahman also said, "BNP wants to build a society and state where people come before leaders. We will do work, build the country, Bangladesh first. We all have to work together to implement this goal."

Thanking the people present at the meeting, he said, "Today you have proven that you are all together. You have come here with your valuable time, listened to us and told us your problems. We will listen to them more and learn more according to our ability."

He said, "BNP is working towards how to solve the problems properly through mutual understanding with the people and give a beautiful, equality-based, knowledge-based and dignity-based state of labour."

The meeting was chaired by Professor Farhad Halim Doner, coordinator of the BNP election management committee in Dhaka-17 constituency and advisor to the party chairman. BNP National Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan and chief coordinator of the election management committee in Dhaka-17 constituency and advisor to the chairman Abdus Salam were also present.
