Body of Bangladeshi killed in Saudi missile strike to arrives in Dhaka
The body of a Bangladeshi national killed in a missile strike in Saudi Arabia is set to arrive Dhaka on today morning.
The deceased, Mosharraf Hossain, was the son of Md. Surjat Ali, a resident of Kirtankhola village in Sakhipur upazila of Tangail.
His body was flown from Riyadh at 2:25am (local time) on a Saudi Airlines flight and will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 10:45am (Bangladesh time).
State Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, Ariful Haque Chowdhury, will received the body at the airport. He is expected to speak to the media after receiving the body.
Mosharraf Hossain was killed in a missile strike reportedly launched from Iran amid escalating regional tensions in the Middle East.
