Sharif Omar Hadi, second secretary at the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in the UK, has made explosive comments about the murder of his brother Sharif Osman Hadi of the Inqilab Mancha.

A new discussion has started about the murder centered on some of Sharif Omar Hadi's Facebook posts.

In his posts on social media, he has raised serious allegations against some of the country's politicians and government officials.

In a post on his Facebook account on Tuesday (June 2) night, Sharif Omar Hadi claimed that some advisers of the former interim government and some BNP leaders were directly involved in the murder of his brother. He demanded a speedy investigation and trial.

In another post, he alleged that a personal assistant (PS) of the Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer played a role in creating the situation behind Hadi's murder. There, he claimed that pressure was exerted on them to remove Hadi from political activities in Dhaka-8 constituency.

However, he did not provide any evidence to support these allegations, and no response was received from the relevant parties. The veracity of the allegations could not be independently verified.

The two posts have sparked widespread discussion on social media. At the same time, questions have been raised about whether the Facebook account is really under the control of Sharif Omar Hadi. There is still no confirmed information on whether the account was hacked or whether he himself posted the posts.

Sharif Omar Hadi is currently serving at the Bangladesh Mission in Birmingham, UK. Discussions have also begun on whether his public comments on such 'political and controversial' issues as a government official are in line with the rules.

It is worth noting that the instructions issued on the use of social media by government officials state that they should refrain from commenting on and promoting issues that are incompatible with their personal or professional responsibilities. However, no official statement has been received from the relevant authorities regarding Omar Hadi's post yet.
