The number of registered voters in Bangladesh has stood at 12,76,12,384, according to the draft updated electoral rolls released by the Election Commission.
17,000 shotguns to be bought for Ansar before election: Finance Adviser
Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed has said seventeen thousand shotguns will be purchased for Ansar before the election. He said the decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Public Purchase and the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs at the Secretariat on Tuesday, November 18.
Final voter list to be published today
The Election Commission EC will publish the third-phase final voter list today, Tuesday, ahead of the thirteenth national parliamentary election. The EC has said that the election will be conducted based on this list.
