Chief Justice expresses grief over aircraft crash casualties

Chief Justice of Bangladesh, Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft into Milestone School and College in Diabari, Uttara, Dhaka, which resulted in numerous casualties, including students.

On Monday, the Chief Justice offered his condolences, praying for the eternal peace of those who lost their lives and extending his heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved families. He also wished a swift and full recovery for the injured.

In his statement, the Chief Justice said, "The loss of Air Force personnel as well as innocent students, guardians, teachers, and staff members of Milestone School and College in this horrific crash is irreparable. This is a moment of profound grief for the entire nation."

He also instructed the Registrar General of the Supreme Court and other senior officials to visit the injured being treated at the burn unit and to provide all necessary assistance.
