Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni recited a poem about Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in Parliament on Thursday (April 16). The Chief Whip congratulated the Prime Minister on being included in Time magazine's list of the world's 100 most influential people. At that time, members of the government party clapped their hands to express their joy. Nurul Islam Moni then recited a poem, but he did not mention the name of the poet.

Earlier, songs and poems were regularly recited in praise of the then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth parliaments, but this is the first time in the thirteenth parliament.

The journey of the thirteenth parliament began on March 12. On that day, Local Government Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir recited a poem by renowned poet Al Mahmud about former Prime Minister late Khaleda Zia in the parliament session.

Even during the Awami League government, several members were discussed in the parliament by singing songs and reciting poems. The then Minister for Science and Technology Yafis Osman and MP Momtaz were the most discussed in this regard. Several then ministers and MPs were trolled on social media for praising the Prime Minister in this way.

Today, in the parliament meeting, the Chief Whip said, the name of our leader, Parliament Leader and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has been included in the list of the world's 100 best personalities in Time magazine. He is respected, which means the country is respected. The Prime Minister has honored this nation. On my behalf and on behalf of the parliament, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to him.

At this time, Nurul Islam Moni, outlining the government's two-month program, said, the Prime Minister has instilled hope among the people after 17 years and has started implementing his promises immediately after the elections.
