Class XI admission first-phase results to be published at 8pm

The results of the first phase of Class XI admission for the 2026–27 academic year will be published after 8pm on Wednesday (September 16), Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee Chairman and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Prof Syed Akhtaruzzaman has confirmed.

Students will be able to check their results through the official Class XI admission website.

Students selected in the first phase must confirm their admission by 8pm on September 18. Failure to complete the confirmation within the deadline will result in the cancellation of their selection and application.

The first-phase migration results, based on students’ preference orders, will be published at 8pm on September 19. The main admission process will run from September 20 to 22, while Class XI classes are scheduled to begin on September 23.

Online applications opened on September 2. Admission is being conducted on a merit basis using SSC and equivalent examination results, without an admission test.

Around 1 million applications have been submitted against nearly 2.5 million seats available at colleges and madrasas nationwide. Despite the surplus of seats overall, limited capacity at popular institutions means not all GPA-5 holders may secure admission to their preferred colleges.

To check the result, students should visit the Class XI admission website and select “View Result”. They will then need to enter their roll number, education board, passing year, registration number and captcha code before clicking “Submit”. The name of the allotted college will then appear on the screen.
