Classes to Begin on September 24

The start date for classes of students admitted online to Class XI in the 2026–27 academic year has been postponed by one day to September 24.

The information was announced in a notice issued Wednesday and signed by Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Education Board.

The notice said that under Clause 6.0 of the “Class XI Admission Policy-2026,” classes for students admitted online in the 2026–27 academic year were scheduled to begin on September 23. However, September 23 has been declared a one-day holiday at all educational institutions across the country on the occasion of Fateha-i-Yazdaham. As a result, the class start date has been rescheduled.

Under the revised schedule, Class XI classes will begin on Thursday, September 24.

Principals and headteachers of the respective institutions have been requested to inform students and their guardians about the revised schedule.
