Police have detained controversial content creator RS Fahim from the Mirpur Zoo area in the capital. Shah Ali Police Station detained him on Sunday, March 29. Shah Ali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Jahangir Alam confirmed the matter. OC Jahangir Alam said locals had detained him in front of Mirpur Zoo. Police later went to the scene, detained him and brought him to the station. He further said Fahim's name is reportedly linked to multiple cases related to the July incidents. The matter is being verified.

পুলিশ রাজধানীর মিরপুর চিড়িয়াখানা এলাকা থেকে আলোচিত কনটেন্ট ক্রিয়েটর আর এস ফাহিমকে আটক করেছে। রোববার (২৯ মার্চ) শাহ আলী থানা পুলিশ তাকে হেফাজতে নেয়। বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন শাহ আলী থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) মো. জাহাঙ্গীর আলম। ওসি জাহাঙ্গীর আলম বলেন, মিরপুর চিড়িয়াখানার সামনে স্থানীয় জনতা তাকে আটকে রেখেছিল। পরে পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে তাকে আটক করে থানায় নিয়ে আসে। তিনি আরও জানান, জুলাইয়ের ঘটনাবলি সংক্রান্ত একাধিক মামলায় তার নাম রয়েছে বলে জানা গেছে। বিষয়টি যাচাই-বাছাই করে দেখা হচ্ছে।
