Convicted individuals created chaos inside the tribunal after the verdict was delivered in the case over the killing of Abu Sayed, a student of Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur.

The incident took place after International Crimes Tribunal-2 delivered its judgment in the case filed on charges of crimes against humanity for the killing on Thursday afternoon.

The three-member judicial panel led by Justice Nazrul Islam Chowdhury announced the verdict. As the convicted accused were being taken out of the tribunal, they reportedly pushed and shoved the police officers on duty.

During the commotion, the convicts chanted 'Joy Bangla' slogans and protested the verdict, saying they did not accept the judgment.

'We do not accept this verdict. We have been framed and we are innocent,' they shouted.

More details are awaited.
