Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi has paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister’s Finance and Planning Adviser Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir. This meeting was held at the office of the Prime Minister’s Finance and Planning Adviser on Monday (August 31). The Indian High Commission in Dhaka has informed that the representatives of the two countries discussed various matters related to mutual interests with the aim of further strengthening and advancing the cooperation between the people of Bangladesh and India at the meeting. However no detailed information regarding the specific matters discussed at the meeting has been informed.

প্রধানমন্ত্রীর অর্থ ও পরিকল্পনা উপদেষ্টা রাশেদ আল মাহমুদ তিতুমীরের সঙ্গে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করেছেন বাংলাদেশে নিযুক্ত ভারতীয় হাইকমিশনার দিনেশ ত্রিবেদী। সোমবার (৩১ আগস্ট) প্রধানমন্ত্রীর অর্থ ও পরিকল্পনা উপদেষ্টার দপ্তরে এ বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। ঢাকার ভারতীয় হাইকমিশন জানিয়েছে, বৈঠকে বাংলাদেশ ও ভারতের জনগণের মধ্যে সহযোগিতা আরও জোরদার ও এগিয়ে নেওয়ার লক্ষ্যে পারস্পরিক স্বার্থসংশ্লিষ্ট বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে আলোচনা করেন দুই দেশের প্রতিনিধিরা। তবে বৈঠকে আলোচিত নির্দিষ্ট বিষয়গুলো সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত কোনো তথ্য জানানো হয়নি।
