Crude bombs exploded at Adviser Farida Akhter’s business premises in Dhaka
Two crude bombs (cocktails) exploded at a business establishment owned by Fisheries and Livestock Department Adviser Farida Akhter in capital’s Mohammadpur area.
The explosion took place around 7.10am on Sir Syed Road in Mohammadpur on Monday (November 10).
According to police, two motorcycle riders threw one cocktail inside the premises and another on the road. Both exploded with loud bangs, though no casualties were reported.
Law enforcement officials later visited the scene and launched an investigation.
Kazi Rafiq Ahmed, officer-in-charge (OC) of Mohammadpur Police Station, confirmed this.
"Multiple police teams are working to identify and arrest those involved in this incident," he said.
