The Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has issued urgent and strict directives for all examination centres to ensure that this year's HSC and equivalent examinations are conducted in a completely fair, copy-free and disciplined environment.

According to the new regulations, CCTV cameras at each exam centre must remain operational at all times, and technical details of the cameras along with the names, addresses and mobile numbers of individuals responsible for transporting question papers must be submitted to the board on an urgent basis.

The directives were issued in an official notification signed by Dhaka Education Board Examination Controller Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu on Monday, June 1.

The notification clearly states that in order to conduct the HSC examinations smoothly, DVR or NVR of CCTV cameras at each centre must be connected to a high-speed internet connection at all times. The ID and password of each centre's CCTV system, along with details including camera brand and device serial number, must be sent to the board's official email by June 8.

Additionally, the full names, permanent and current addresses, and personal mobile numbers of teachers, staff and government tag officers involved in collecting and transporting question papers must also be submitted to the board by June 8.

The board has described this as a matter of highest priority and indicated that strict disciplinary action may be taken against centres that fail to comply.
