Dhaka Int’l Tourism Fair 2025 kicks off

The 20th International Tourism Fair, "Dhaka Travel Mart 2025," officially opened on Thursday.

The three-day event features a variety of local and international organizations. Organized by Bangladesh Monitor, the fair will run until February 8, daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka. The event's title sponsor partner is the private airline US-Bangla Airlines.

On Thursday morning (February 6), it was observed that more than 60 local and international tourism organizations, airlines, resorts, hotels, and tour operators had set up booths. Visitors were also flocking to the fair. There is a 50 Taka entry fee per person to access the event.

To attract visitors, the participating companies are offering attractive discounts on tickets for domestic and international hotels, resorts, and airlines.

The Chief Operating Officer of the travel company 'Fast Trip,' Hasnain Rafique, participating in the fair, said, "This fair is undoubtedly a great initiative for promoting tourism and travel companies. On the occasion of the fair, we are offering special discounts on airline tickets along with our company’s packages. Our main goal is to provide tourists with affordable and pleasant travel experiences through our services."

Ayesha Siddika, Sales Executive of another tourism company, Rupkotha Tours, said, "Travelers can explore most countries of the world through our services. We offer special benefits on hotel, resort bookings, and airline tickets. Additionally, visitors attending the fair mentioned that the event provides an excellent opportunity to learn about easy travel options both within the country and abroad."

Visitor Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan mentioned, "I have recently completed some travel courses, and I came here out of interest. Additionally, I came to the fair to explore special offers for traveling abroad by getting familiar with various companies."

Apart from Bangladesh, companies from Jordan, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Thailand, UAE, and India are also participating in the fair. Furthermore, by purchasing the entry ticket, visitors can take part in a raffle draw, offering a chance to win attractive prizes, including airline tickets.
