Dhaka may see partly cloudy skies today

Dhaka and its surrounding areas may experience partly cloudy skies temporarily today, Monday (January 19), while overall weather conditions are expected to remain mainly dry, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

In its forecast issued at 7:00am for the next six hours, the BMD said winds may blow from the north or northwest at speeds of 5–10 kmph. Day temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged.

The temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 17.4°C at 6:00am, with relative humidity at 76 percent.

On Sunday, the capital’s maximum temperature was 27.2°C, while today’s minimum stood at 17.0°C, the department added.

Sunset in Dhaka today is expected at 5:35pm, while sunrise tomorrow will be at 6:44am.
