Dhaka to host 'Garment Technology Exhibition', 'GAP Expo-2025'

To showcase global technology in the ready-made garments sector, the 22nd edition of the 'Garments Technology Bangladesh (GTB-2025)' and the '14th GAP Expo-2025' will commence on Wednesday, January 8, at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka.

The four-day exhibition will run until January 11.


Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, managing director of ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., shared the details of the event during a press conference held at the ICCB on Sunday (January 5).


The event will host 500 exhibitors from 25 countries, spanning all eight halls of the ICCB. It will feature cutting-edge technology, machinery, accessories, packaging products, and allied products used in the garment industry.

The inaugural ceremony will take place at 11.00am on January 8, on the mezzanine floor of Hall 4 at the ICCB. The event will be graced by the presence of Sheikh Bashir Uddin, Adviser to the Ministry of Commerce, Textiles, and Jute of the interim government, along with Korean Ambassador Young-sik and other industry leaders.


Tipu mentioned that decision-makers, technology heads, and sourcing team members from various local and international companies will participate in the event.

The event will jointly organized by the Bangladesh Garments Accessories and Packaging Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) and ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd.
