Dhaka University restricts public entry over security concerns

Dhaka University (DU) authorities have restricted public entry to the campus citing security concerns ahead of the burial of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi.

In a notice issued by the university’s Public Relations Office on Saturday (December 20), the administration urged teachers, students, officers, staff, and the general public to refrain from gathering on campus in the interest of overall security.

The notice said that all campus entry points would remain closed temporarily to ensure safety. The university authorities also expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to the public due to the restrictions.
