Directorate enforces new Madrasa recruitment rules, MPO at risk if violated
The Directorate of Madrasa Education has made it mandatory for all vacant posts outside the scope of the NTRCA in private madrasas to follow the new “Staff Structure and MPO Policy, 2026” when hiring teachers.
The directive, issued by the Directorate’s Administration Branch, warns that failure to comply with the guidelines will result in the withdrawal of MPO (Monthly Payment Order) benefits for the respective positions.
Copies of the notice have been sent to all MPO-affiliated madrasa presidents, governing bodies, managing committees, and principals.
The Ministry of Education’s Technical and Madrasa Education Division issued the policy on February 1, 2026, making adherence compulsory for all future recruitment in private madrasas.
According to the notice, previously the managing committees or governing bodies of madrasas carried out recruitment for non-NTRCA posts based on recommendations from the institution’s appointment committee. Under the new policy, all appointments must strictly follow the 2026 guidelines.
Deputy Director (Administration) Mohammad Arifur Rahman Majumdar emphasised that the directive aims to ensure transparency in recruitment and prevent the appointment of unqualified candidates.
