Dr Nurunnahar Chowdhury, member (secretary) of the Planning Commission, has been appointed as the new secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism. The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification today announcing her transfer and appointment to the post. The order, issued in the public interest, will come into immediate effect.

বেসামরিক বিমান পরিবহণ ও পর্যটন মন্ত্রণালয়ে নতুন সচিব নিয়োগ দেওয়া হয়েছে। এই পদে এসেছেন ড. নূরুন্নাহার চৌধুরী। এর আগে তিনি পরিকল্পনা কমিশনের সদস্য (সচিব) ছিলেন। বুধবার (১৪ অক্টোবর) জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয় এ বিষয়ে প্রজ্ঞাপন জারি করেছে। এই মন্ত্রণালয়ের সচিবের দায়িত্বে ছিলেন ফাহমিদা আখতার। তিনি বৃহস্পতিবার (১৫ অক্টোবর) অবসরোত্তর ছুটি বা পিয়ারএলে যাচ্ছেন।
