Dr Zubaida Rahman and Zaima Rahman arrive at Gulshan residence

Dr Zubaida Rahman, the wife of BNP's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, and their daughter, Barrister Zaima Rahman, have arrived at their Gulshan residence from Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

They reached the house at 196 Gulshan Avenue around 12:55 pm on Thursday, November 25. Police and members of the Armed Security Force (ASF) provided a protocol escort to their home.

Earlier, the flight carrying Tarique Rahman from London, UK, landed at Sylhet Osmani International Airport at 9:55 am. After a brief stopover, the flight departed for Dhaka at 11:12 am.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines' Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner flight BG-202 had departed from London's Heathrow Airport for Dhaka at 6:15 pm local time. On this journey marking his return after nearly 17 years, Tarique Rahman was accompanied by his wife Dr Zubaida Rahman and their daughter, Barrister Zaima Rahman.
