DSCC announces Tk 3,841 crore budget for 2025-26 fiscal year

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has announced a budget of Tk 3,841.38 crore for the fiscal year 2025-26. The budget was unveiled by DSCC Administrator Md. Shahjahan Mia on Wednesday at the Nagar Bhaban auditorium.

The budget estimates initial income of Tk 845.16 crore and revenue income of Tk 1,320.40 crore. Other income sources are projected at Tk 79.55 crore, while government and special allocations total Tk 127 crore.

DSCC anticipates receiving Tk 1,469.24 crore from government and foreign sources. Operating expenses are set at Tk 635.33 crore, with development expenditure from own funds at Tk 876.64 crore. Total development spending is estimated at Tk 2,345.88 crore.

In comparison, last year’s budget for 2024-25 was Tk 6,760.74 crore initially, with a revised figure of Tk 2,667.59 crore.
