DU administration to restrict traffic on campus again from Monday

The university authorities have announced that the entry of vehicles into the Dhaka University (DU) campus will be restricted from 6:30 am to 10 pm every day. During this time, vehicles with university stickers and vehicles other than emergency services will be banned. Entry will be restricted from 3 pm to 10 pm on holidays.

This information was given in an emergency notification from the Proctor's Office on Sunday (April 6). It said that for the overall safety of Dhaka University students, traffic will be restricted on the campus.

The notification also said that vehicles other than vehicles with Dhaka University stickers, emergency services (ambulances, doctors, patients, journalists, ride shares, food trucks, online shopping vehicles and other government vehicles) will be restricted from entering the campus. However, access to public transport and heavy vehicles will always be restricted.
