DU suspends classes, exams from Sept 7-10
Dhaka University (DU) has suspended all classes and examinations across its departments from September 7 to 10 due to the upcoming 38th DU Central Students' Union (DUCSU) and Hall Parliament elections.
A notification, signed by Acting Registrar Munshi Shams Uddin Ahmed on Saturday (August 30), confirmed this.
The notification stated that the suspension applies to all university activities to ensure smooth conduct of the elections.
The DUCSU elections are scheduled for September 9, with a total of 471 candidates contesting for 28 posts, including Vice-President, General Secretary, Assistant General Secretary, and other departmental and student body positions.
