EC publishes gazette of 49 elected for reserved women's seats
The Election Commission (EC) has published a gazette declaring 49 candidates elected as members of parliament for the 50 reserved women's seats in the 13th National Parliament.
The gazette was issued from the EC Secretariat on Thursday, April 30, and signed by K M Ali Newaz, who is in charge of the routine duties of the EC Secretary.

One seat remains unresolved, as a legal dispute over the candidacy is pending in the High Court. Following a court order, the nomination of a candidate named Nusrat Tabassum must be re-evaluated . A final decision on that seat will be made after the nomination is re-examined in accordance with the court's directive .
