EC releases constituency-wise results of parliamentary polls
The Election Commission (EC) has published the constituency-wise results for 297 seats in the 13th national parliamentary elections. The information was released today on the EC’s official website.
Out of the country’s 300 parliamentary constituencies, voting took place in 42,651 polling stations across 299 seats. Formal results had already been declared for 297 of these seats, and the EC has now released detailed, constituency-level results for all of them.
The results for Chattogram-2 and Chattogram-4 have been withheld. They will be announced after court cases concerning these constituencies are resolved. Meanwhile, the election in Sherpur-3 was canceled following the death of a candidate, and polling at 128 centers in that constituency will now take place on April 9.
On the same day, a by-election will also be held for Bogura-6, which was vacated by Tarique Rahman.
