EC to publish final gazette on September 15

The Election Commission (EC) has taken key steps to ensure a more transparent and efficient preparation process for the upcoming elections. The EC will publish the final election gazette on September 15.

Following the publication, a Geographic Information System (GIS) map is expected to be released around September 30, which will clearly delineate electoral boundaries for voters and political parties alike.

On Thursday, August 28, the Election Commission announced that the preliminary registration for new political parties will open on September 14. The final notification on this matter will be issued by September 30.

In a move to guarantee wider electoral participation, the EC confirmed that ballots will be delivered to prisoners in jails two weeks prior to the election date.

The Election Commission emphasized that these measures are aimed at making the election process more transparent, fair, and credible.
