Education board issues urgent directive for HSC students who missed July 13 exams

The Inter-Education Board Exam Controller Committee has issued an urgent directive for HSC and equivalent examinees who could not sit for their examinations on July 13 due to adverse weather. Interested students must complete their registration at their respective examination centres by July 29 to participate in the re-examinations.

The directive was issued in a notification signed by Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu, Controller of Examinations of the Dhaka Education Board and convener of the Inter-Education Board Exam Controller Committee, on Saturday (July 25).

The notification said that HSC and equivalent examinees under all education boards except Chattogram who could not participate in the Physics First Paper, Accounting First Paper and Logic First Paper examinations held on July 13 due to adverse weather must register at their respective examination centres by July 29 if they wish to appear for the re-examinations.

The same directive applies to examinees of Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board's English Second Paper and Bangladesh Technical Education Board's Office Management subject.

It further stated that the information of registered students must be sent urgently to the Controller of Examinations of the respective education board by July 30. The Inter-Education Board Exam Controller Committee has described the matter as extremely urgent.
