Education minister brings back strict anti-cheating stance during NTRCA exams
Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon once again displayed his uncompromising stance against cheating during an inspection of examination centres for the NTRCA principal and vice-principal recruitment tests on Saturday morning, April 18.
During his inspection of various centres in the capital, the minister was seen peering through window gaps with sharp eyes to assess the situation inside and occasionally lifting window panes to check for any irregularities.
Photos posted on the minister's verified Facebook page show him gripping window grilles and observing the inside with deep concentration.
He inspected Government Bangla College, Residential Model College and Tejgaon College in the capital, as well as the madrasa teachers' examination at Government College of Applied Human Science.
Earlier, on Friday, April 17, the education minister had said at an event, "If there is any weakness in teacher recruitment, if MPs collectively engage in politics, the education environment will not improve. If there is any deviation in recruitment, I will find it out with a microscope. Meritorious candidates cannot be excluded by any means."
The MCQ examinations for teachers are being held in four separate groups across nine designated venues in Dhaka.
