Education Minister leaves for China visit
Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon has left Dhaka for China. The Prime Minister's Education Adviser Dr Mahdi Amin and Secretary of the Technical and Madrasa Education Division Md Daud Mia are accompanying the minister on the visit.
The information was provided in a press release from the Ministry of Education on Tuesday, August 25.
The ministry said Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen and Cultural Counsellor Li Shaopeng of the Chinese Embassy were present when the minister departed Dhaka for China.
During the visit, the minister is scheduled to hold meetings with various Chinese universities with the aim of expanding cooperation in the education sector. He will also participate in various forums and conferences on education. Additionally, he will visit various technical and vocational institutes in China.
Several memorandums of understanding on education are expected to be signed with China during the visit.
