Education minister orders CCTV in every HSC exam room

Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon has ordered the installation of CCTV cameras in every examination room for the upcoming Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations to ensure a fair, disciplined and cheat-free environment. He also directed all concerned to remain vigilant to maintain a cheat-free atmosphere.

The minister gave the directives while virtually joining a views-exchange meeting with centre secretaries under the Rajshahi Education Board at the Rajshahi District Training Centre auditorium on Saturday, June 27.

The meeting discussed various aspects of organising the HSC examinations, which are set to begin on July 2. Rajshahi Deputy Commissioner Kazi Shahidul Islam and Rajshahi Education Board Chairman Professor Dr Shamima Ara Chowdhury were present, along with centre secretaries from various examination centres.

The Rajshahi Education Board chairman said this year's examinations will be held in 208 centres across eight districts under the board, with 1,40,830 students participating. She expressed hope that the examinations would be completed in a fair and peaceful environment with the cooperation of all concerned.
