Educational background not mandatory for managing committee president
The government has relaxed the minimum educational qualification requirement for becoming the president of managing committees and governing bodies of private educational institutions in Bangladesh.
Under the new decision, no educational qualification will be required to serve as the head of the managing committee of schools and colleges.
The decision was taken at a discussion meeting on Tuesday reviewing the “Governing Body and Managing Committee Regulations–2024 for Private Educational Institutions.”
The meeting was held at the conference room of the Secondary and Higher Education Division under the Ministry of Education.
Adviser to the ministry A N M Ehsanul Haque Milan attended the meeting as the chief guest, while the Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division, Abdul Khaleque, presided over the session.
